DAZN is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead regulatory activities across our Canada operations, working with Product, Operations, Legal, Marketing and Customer Services to deliver practical compliance solutions. You will steward licensing obligations and act as a trusted advisor to the business in a fast‑paced, evolving regulatory environment.

You will partner with multiple jurisdictions to deliver DAZN Bet's global compliance strategy and ensure ongoing regulatory reporting to Canadian

Qualifications

• Experience in online gambling compliance environments is essential.
• Knowledge of Canadian regulatory frameworks and licensing requirements is critical.
• Ability to influence and drive compliance across Product, Operations, Legal, Marketing and Customer Services.
• Proactive approach to identifying process weaknesses and driving improvements across procedures.

Responsibilities

• Utilising internal systems to maintain a knowledge base of Ontario, Alberta and wider Canadian legislation.
• Advising and supporting the business on compliant operational procedures, liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
• Building internal networks and managing stakeholders to ensure visibility of compliance and input into activity.
• Undertaking horizon scanning for regulatory changes and feeding outputs into business planning.
• Representing compliance in Canada‑focused projects and steering meetings.
• Maintaining regulatory policy documentation and internal guidance, updated for changes.
• Delivering all elements of regulatory reporting to Canadian regulators.
• Developing positive relationships with regulators and key industry stakeholders.
• Collaborating with Compliance Monitoring to deliver the quarterly monitoring programme in Canada.
• Following up on weaknesses from monitoring outputs and driving improvements with stakeholders.
• Working with Head of Technical Compliance on incident handling and regulator communications.
• Supporting the Compliance Director in governance processes and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Keeping abreast of regulatory rulings and ensuring feedback loops to first line teams.
• Maintaining close relations with marketing to ensure compliant content and campaigns.
• Perform monthly and ad‑hoc checks to verify marketing and website content compliance.

As Compliance Manager – Canada, you will be responsible for ensuring DAZN Bet meets its regulatory obligations across our Canadian operations. Acting as a trusted advisor to the business, you'll provide expert compliance guidance across day‑to‑day operations, strategic initiatives, and new product developments while balancing commercial objectives with regulatory requirements. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for Canadian regulators, oversee licensing obligations, and work closely with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions to deliver DAZN Bet's global Compliance strategy. This role requires strong stakeholder management, regulatory expertise, and the ability to operate effectively within a fast‑paced and evolving regulatory environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Utilising internal systems to develop and maintain on an ongoing basis a solid knowledge base of Ontario, Alberta and wider Canadian legislation, regulations, guidance and technical documents
• Advising and supporting the business with the implementation of commercially compliant operational procedures, in line with policy and regulatory requirements, liaising with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
• Building a strong internal network and managing key stakeholders effectively to ensure visibility of compliance and input into business activity, providing timely compliance advice and managing any risks
• Undertaking regular horizon scanning in relation to regulatory changes and developments, reporting on outputs and feeding directly into business planning processes and working closely with the Product, Technology and/or Operational teams to ensure the optimised implementation of requirements
• Acting as key point of contact internally to support new projects and initiatives impacting the Canada market and representing compliance on the relevant steering meetings
• Maintaining all required regulatory policy documentation and internal guidance documents, ensuring these are reviewed at least annually and in response to any regulatory changes
• Responsibility for delivering all elements of regulatory reporting to the Canada regulators
• Pro-actively developing and maintaining positive and constructive relationships with our regulators, key industry stakeholders such as trade bodies and key third‑party providers
• Working closely with the Compliance Monitoring Manager to deliver the quarterly monitoring programme, ensuring monitoring processes are fully cognizant of Canada regulatory requirements
• Following up on any weaknesses identified as part of the monitoring output process and driving improvements, working in conjunction with the relevant business stakeholders as needed
• Working closely with the Head of Technical Compliance to support end to end handling of regulatory incidents, including assessment of the event, implementation of remedial action and managing regulator communications if required
• Supporting the Compliance Director by feeding into wider business governance processes, such as reporting and by presenting directly to senior stakeholders on matters of Canada compliance
• Keeping abreast of regulatory rulings and public statements and ensuring a documented and effective feedback loop is in place to share learnings back into first line teams and optimising our compliance
• Maintaining close relationships with the marketing team and delivering on agreed processes to support the efficient execution of marketing campaigns that remain fully compliant at all times
• Undertaking monthly and ad‑hoc checks to ensure marketing and website content is compliant

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience of the working within the online gambling sector and knowledge of legislative frameworks and regulation are critical for this role
• Knowledge of legislative frameworks and regulation of the online gambling industry within Canada
• Experience of working within the online gambling sector, within a compliance focused role
• Strong influencing skills
• Proactivity in identifying and addressing process weakness, driving a culture of iterative improvement across all compliance procedures
