Irwin & Colton, a sustainability services provider, is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead the development and implementation of group-wide compliance strategies. You will shape management systems, drive certification accreditations, and support continued growth.

This hybrid role based in London or Birmingham offers a £50,000–£60,000 salary plus benefits. The ideal candidate will be expert in ISO management systems, audit methodologies, and stakeholder engagement across functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing ISO management systems and certification processes.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and compliance assurance.
• Desirable experience in waste, heavy manufacturing or related heavy industrial environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Group-wide compliance framework aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the implementation and management of ISO standards, initially ISO 27001 and ISO 45001, across the organisation.
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed promptly.
• Support tender responses by providing accurate compliance and certification information.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and integrating management systems from acquired businesses.
