Full-time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Maternity cover with the opportunity to become permanent

You will manage all statutory compliance across our 490 retail branch estate, residential flats, and commercial offices, ensuring all areas are kept up to date and records are processed and accessible to all. Additionally, you will lead the maintenance team dealing with reactive property issues and work closely with the health & safety team.

The ideal candidate will be professional at all times, enthusiastic, and have a motivated approach. You should take ownership of your own time and prioritize workload in a fast-paced department where no two days are ever the same.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Ensure statutory compliance is kept up to date and records are accessible to all
  • Manage property-related contracts, e.g., intruder alarms, air conditioning, portable appliance testing, etc.
  • Manage the maintenance team to meet performance expectations
  • Implement and maintain SLAs
  • Work closely with the Health & Safety team
  • Manage small works issues
  • Review and authorize invoices

What competencies are we looking for?

  • Proven track record in property management
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Team management experience
  • Good understanding of commercial leases
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to review reported issues and problem-solve quickly and efficiently
  • Computer literate, confident using Word & Excel
  • Enthusiastic and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels
  • NEBOSH qualification is desirable
