Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) is seeking a Compliance Engineer to join the global hardware safety and product compliance team in a hybrid Nottingham role. You will drive regulatory activities, oversee core certifications for new and existing products, and liaise with R&D, external stakeholders, and global labs.

You will work with cross-functional teams across regions to ensure CE, EMC, RED and related certifications are maintained and expanded as needed, supporting product lifecycle

Qualifications

• BSc in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of Safety, EMC, Radio, and related certifications.
• Familiarity with CE, NRTL, FCC, IC regulations including Machinery, LVD, EMC, RED directives.
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Experience working in international cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with curiosity to learn.

You will be a driver of regulatory activities and procedures for the Product Division, overseeing core certifications for all new and existing products, and acting as a link between R&D, external stakeholders and the wider global compliance team. You will work closely with the local R&D organization as well as other regulatory compliance experts around the word and 3rd party laboratories for testing purposes, participating in and/or leading cross-functional projects for new product development and current product lifecycle maintenance.**Key Responsibilities** The Compliance Engineer ensures product compliance with regulatory requirements in key markets (Europe, USA/Canada).
