Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is seeking a Compliance Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract at its headquarters in Coventry. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy, quality and regulatory compliance of water quality and environmental data.

The analyst will produce regulatory returns and provide insights to support compliant service delivery. The successful candidate will have a scientific background (Microbiology or Chemistry) and strong Excel/SQL/Power BI skills, with knowledge of DWI, Ofwat and EA

Qualifications

• Ideally a scientific discipline, Microbiology or Chemistry.
• Strong skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI/Power Apps and GIS systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory bodies (DWI, Ofwat, EA) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Produce regulatory returns for organisations such as DWI, Ofwat and Environment Agency.
• Create performance reports using advanced databases and spreadsheets.
• Work with data providers to ensure data accuracy and consistency; support annual sampling plans.
