Severn Trent Plc in the UK is hiring a Water Quality Scientist to investigate water quality issues, provide technical advice to stakeholders, and support major capital schemes with strong hygiene controls.

You'll join the Public Health and Standards team, provide 24/7 water quality support, be on a rota for standby cover, and engage with customers and colleagues to keep everyone informed.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Understanding of drinking water quality standards and treatment principles.

Responsibilities

• Investigate water quality issues and assess risk.
• Provide technical advice to stakeholders across the business.
• Support major capital schemes with emphasis on hygiene controls.
• Deliver 24/7 water quality support via the Public Health and Standards team.
• Engage with customers during investigations and resolutions.
