Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a Compliance Support role to monitor legal compliance for agency and employed drivers and vehicle maintenance, ensuring policy adherence across departments.

The role involves data-heavy tasks, audits, and maintaining accurate paperwork, with full training provided for transport compliance aspects. A degree and strong communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Degree level education required.
• Experience managing large datasets using Google Docs.
• Self-motivated, analytical, data-focused and highly organised.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
• Transport Compliance knowledge is advantageous with training.

Responsibilities

• Investigate missing mileage to ensure depot targets are met.
• Complete checks for Time Right and Lead using large data sets.
• Audit agency documentation.
• Ensure drivers cards and vehicles are downloaded per legal and company requirements.
• Manage data entry to maintain driver and vehicle compliance.
• Provide accurate information to Transport department and depots for compliance.
• Support to drive compliance and continuous improvement.
• File all relevant paperwork correctly.
• Identify trends and report to relevant managers.
• Assist peers and managers during sickness/annual leave.

Job Description

Purpose of Position

In this role you will support the Compliance Controllers and Compliance Managers in monitoring the legal compliance for all of the departments agency and employed drivers and vehicle maintenance, as well as ensuring adherence to company policies

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate missing mileage to ensure the Transport department and depots meet the company and earned recognition targets
• Complete check for Time Right and Lead in which requires working with large amounts of data for agency and employed drivers
• Complete audits of agency documentation
• Ensuring drivers cards and vehicles are downloaded in line with legal and company requirements
• Manage a large amount of data entry to ensure driver and vehicle Compliance is maintained within the Transport department and depots
• Provide correct and reliable information to the Transport department and depots to allow them to manage driver and vehicle compliance
• Consistently provide support to the Transport department and depots to drive compliance as required and promote continuous improvement
• Ensure all relevant paperwork and documentation is filed correctly

• Identify trends and highlight these to relevant managers within the relevant site
• To assist with completing peers and senior management tasks during sickness and annual leave

Qualifications

What we are looking for;

• You will ideally be educated to Degree level having recently graduated
• Experience with google documents and managing large amounts of data
• Self motivated, analytical, data focused, highly organised and have exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment
• Previous knowledge of Transport Compliance would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
