Job summary

A leading Financial Services consultancy in Belfast seeks a Compliance Associate to ensure the highest quality compliance work and conduct audits for global clients. Candidates should be junior to mid-level professionals with experience in assurance, audit, or compliance testing. Knowledge in Payments or Asset Management is a plus, as well as ISO 27001 familiarity. This role offers exposure to multiple projects and requires a client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Junior to mid-level professional within assurance, audit, or compliance testing in financial services.
• Desirable but not essential: knowledge of Payments or Asset Management.
• Experience in conducting any relevant type of audit.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality compliance work products to clients.
• Deliver on multiple projects including Information Security and Financial Crime.
• Conduct compliance audits and advise on regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with clients to design regulatory strategies.

Compliance Associate

MCS Group, a leading Financial Services consultancy, is looking for a Compliance Associate to join their Belfast offices and support the firm's global clients with audit and assurance work.

Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Providing highest quality compliance work products to clients
• Playing a key role in delivering on multiple projects – including Information Security, Consumer Duty, Financial Crime, Safeguarding & more
• Carrying out compliance audits for clients – advising relevant recommendations to achieve regulatory compliance
• Working closely with existing clients to learn their business and design supporting regulatory strategy accordingly

Criteria:

• Junior to Mid‑level professionals within assurance, audit or compliance testing – within financial services, banking or fintech
• Payments or Asset Management industry knowledge is desirable, but not essential
• Demonstrable audit experience – any relevant kind of audit
• ISO 27001 experience is desirable
• Client‑facing experience or exposure is desirable
