Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking a Compliance Assistant to join the Corporate Compliance Team. You will help coordinate statutory property compliance across the Council's housing and corporate estate, maintaining records and supporting reporting to ensure safety and legal compliance.

The role involves monitoring inspections, handling documentation, and working with contractors and colleagues to deliver high-quality service. Welsh language level is required at Level 2.

Compliance Assistant

Corporate Compliance Team Place, Infrastructure and Economic Development

Are you organised, detail-focused and looking for a role where your work really matters?

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking Compliance Assistants to join our Corporate Compliance Team.

Working alongside specialist compliance officers and surveyors, you will help coordinate statutory property compliance across the Council's housing and corporate estate. You will maintain compliance records, monitor inspections and certification, track remedial actions and support compliance reporting, helping to ensure our buildings remain safe, compliant and well managed.

About the role

You will:

  • Support the delivery of statutory property compliance programmes.

  • Carry out quality checks on compliance information.

About you

You will be organised, methodical and able to manage competing priorities. You will have good communication skills, be confident using digital systems and be committed to delivering high-quality customer service.

Experience within administration, compliance, property or a customer-focused environment would be beneficial, together with a relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
