Job summary

CLARC Recruitment is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join a Consumer Credit business in the UK. The role supports the Head of Compliance and enhances the firm’s regulatory framework, drawing on strong regulatory knowledge in consumer credit compliance.

The successful candidate will contribute to horizon scanning, policy drafting, and regulatory reporting, while engaging with senior stakeholders and ensuring adherence to FCA requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in FCA-regulated environment, ideally consumer credit.
• Strong regulatory knowledge within a consumer credit compliance environment.
• Experience drafting and updating compliance policies, reports and procedures.
• Ability to review financial promotions for regulatory compliance.
• Experience with regulatory reporting, complaints, and financial crime monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct horizon scanning, gap analysis, and provide regulatory updates.
• Support the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Plan, producing reports and maintaining records.
• Draft and update compliance policies, reports and procedures.
• Review and approve financial promotions.
• Assist with regulatory reporting, complaints, and financial crime monitoring.
• Advise the business on regulatory requirements including Consumer Duty and AML.
• Support the design and delivery of compliance training.
• Communicate with senior stakeholders clearly and confidently.

• Assisting with regulatory reporting, complaints, and financial crime monitoring.
• Advising the business on regulatory requirements including Consumer Duty and AML.
• Supporting the design and delivery of compliance training.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Experience within an FCA-regulated environment, ideally within consumer credit
