Join the Compliance team which is responsible for operating the Mako Group’s compliance framework.
The Compliance Analyst will work closely with stakeholders and teams across Mako’s operations, trading and technology functions. The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for carrying out, improving and maintaining monitoring and surveillance programs, policies and procedures and disseminating new regulations, rules and guidance.
What you’ll be involved in:
- Owning the implementation and improving of the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
- Implementing, designing and improving the firm's policies and procedures.
- Carrying out new counterparty onboarding.
- Assisting with maintaining relationships with regulators, exchanges and other third parties.
- Carrying out the submission of regulatory reports and filings.
- Analysing regulatory change and new business initiatives, providing advice as appropriate.
- Monitoring for future regulatory developments.
- Creating and delivering management information reports.
- Provide day-to-day support to front office and back office functions.
- Designing and delivering training.
- Responsible for handling routine operational tasks and providing flexible support to meet the team's evolving needs.
What we need from you:
- Educated to degree level.
- Experience in designing, improving and carrying out of monitoring, onboarding and policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the wider financial markets.
- Contextual knowledge of the regulatory landscape and existing/future regulations.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Responsible, self-sufficient team player.
- Solutions oriented.
