First Steps Together is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support pupils with SEND at Kershaw Wood Manchester (M23 4NG). You will work across Key Stages 1 and 2, alongside teachers and professionals, delivering targeted interventions in a safe, engaging environment.

You will work one-to-one and with small groups, adapting activities to meet individual learning, communication, sensory and emotional needs, building positive relationships and helping pupils achieve EHCP outcomes.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND and complex needs.
• Ability to adapt approaches for individual pupils.
• Proven patience, compassion and resilience in classroom settings.

Responsabilidades

• Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning activities.
• Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups.
• Observe and record pupil progress and communicate with families and professionals.
• Help create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment.
• Contribute to EHCP/outcomes and risk assessments as needed.
