Job summary

Harmony Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Female Healthcare Assistant to support a 13-year-old girl with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy in her family home in North Somerset (BS49). The role involves day and night shifts on a zero hours contract, providing clinical, personal and emotional care, medication management and PEG feeding.

You will work to promote dignity, independence and wellbeing, using hoist transfers and mobility aids where required, and you may be called on for holiday and

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care for children.
• Must hold a full manual driving licence and be able to drive.
• Experience with medication management and PEG care.
• Experience with hoist handling and manual transfers.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2:1 daytime and 1:1 night support for the child.
• Assist with personal care, medication administration and feeding via PEG.
• Support mobility using mobility aids and hoist under supervision.
• Deliver safe, compassionate, child-centred care in the home environment.
