Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group is recruiting a compassionate Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs in a specialist SEN setting in Richmond upon Thames. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and healthcare staff to provide targeted 1:1 and small-group assistance and help learners access the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with complex SEND.
• Confident in supporting communication and personal care.
• Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils aged 4-19 with complex needs in a specialist SEN setting.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support alongside teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals.
• Assist with communication using appropriate methods and promote independence.
• Support personal care where required and help pupils achieve EHCP outcomes.
