Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEND school in Sheffield for a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant. You will support pupils with PMLD and SLD, helping them access learning and participate in daily activities.

The role is full-time, term-time only, with daily pay between £95 and £120 depending on experience. You will work with teachers and therapists in a supportive Multi Academy Trust environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with complex SEND, including PMLD or SLD.
• Ability to provide personal care where required.
• Patient, caring and resilient attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Full-time availability.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with PMLD, SLD and other complex needs.
• Assist with personalised learning activities aligned to EHCP outcomes.
• Provide personal care and daily living support.
• Support pupils with communication, sensory regulation and engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and support staff.
• Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
