Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant for a specialist SEN school in Leicester. You will support pupils with complex needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping them access learning and develop communication, independence and confidence.

The ideal candidate is patient, caring and resilient, with experience of SEN or complex needs and a calm, collaborative approach; Monday-Friday only, ASAP start and £105 per day.

Location: Leicester

Pay: £105 per day

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, 5 days a week

Aspire People have partnered with a specialist SEN school in Leicester who are looking for a caring, resilient and experienced Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This role would suit someone who has a genuine passion for supporting children with complex and additional needs and understands that every pupil requires an individual approach.

About the Role

You will work closely with teachers and specialist support staff to provide personalised support to pupils, helping them access learning and develop their communication, independence and confidence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting pupils with complex and additional needs
• Helping children access learning and classroom activities
• Supporting communication and social development
• Assisting with emotional regulation and sensory needs

Previous experience working with children with SEN or complex needs is essential.
