Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Complex Needs Support Specialist to provide tailored support for individuals with SEND in educational or care settings.

You will work with teachers and therapists to implement individualised plans, monitor progress, and promote wellbeing in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in health and social care, special education, or a related field (Minimum Level 3).
• Additional training in behaviour management, de-escalation techniques, or other relevant areas.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding requirements for individuals with SEND and additional needs.
• Proven experience working with individuals with complex needs, particularly those with SEND, ASD, ADHD, and other additional needs.
• Strong understanding of the unique learning, emotional, and behavioural needs of individuals with additional needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and engage with individuals of all ages.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to changing needs.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
