Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated Complex Needs Support Specialist to provide tailored support for individuals with SEND in educational or care settings. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and others to develop personalised plans.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, behavioural support, and inclusive practice, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive consultant from Protocol Education.

Qualifications

• Qualification in health and social care, special education, or related field (Level 3 or higher).
• Training in behaviour management or de-escalation.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation for SEND and additional needs.
• Experience with SEND, ASD, ADHD, and other needs.
• Ability to work with diverse age groups in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support to individuals with complex needs in educational or care settings.
• Develop and implement individualised support plans based on assessments and ongoing evaluations.
• Deliver specialised educational programmes and activities tailored to individual learning requirements.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to support.
• Monitor progress, adjust strategies as needed, and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
• Promote positive behaviour and well-being, offering emotional and practical support where necessary.
