Job summary

HF in London is seeking a Litigation Executive to support our Complex & Catastrophic Injury team. The role involves assisting Partners and fee earners on Large and Complex Loss claims, ensuring timely, businesslike handling of cases in a collaborative environment.

You will work in a hybrid setting and gain exposure to high‑value personal injury matters, with training provided to help you progress in a challenging, rewarding practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil litigation, preferably personal injury (PI).
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and billing targets.
• Experience with pre-action protocols and insurance knowledge is advantageous.
• Ability to work as part of a team and with fee earners.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior team members with Large and Complex Loss Claims.
• Review records and prepare detailed notes on key issues.
• Collate disclosure and keep documents in order.
• Prepare bundles for expert and Counsel instructions.
• Instruct and liaise with experts and Counsel.
• Arrange conferences and attend with the fee earner.
• Diaries Court dates and directions.
• Liaise with witnesses and research legal issues.
• Exposure to catastrophic injury claims for national insurers.
• Assist with client MI/SLA requirements.
