Job summary

West London NHS Trust is seeking a clinician to contribute to the development and delivery of specialist, relational and evidence-informed care for adults with complex emotional needs. The role involves screening referrals, conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating care plans and delivering therapeutic interventions while managing a caseload.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, building partnerships across services to improve pathways, service development and quality improvement

Qualifications

• Significant experience working with adults with complex emotional needs in community settings.
• Experience managing a caseload within a multidisciplinary team.
• Open to Social Work, Nursing or Occupational Therapy backgrounds.
• Desirable: training in SCM, DBT, MBT or other evidence-based therapies.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess referrals, liaise with referrers, undertake comprehensive assessments and formulations.
• Develop care plans and provide therapeutic interventions.
• Hold a caseload of clients and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure joined-up care and effective pathways.
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement and new ways of working.
