Job summary

West London NHS Trust is seeking a clinician to contribute to the development and delivery of specialist, relational and evidence-informed care for adults with complex emotional needs. The role involves screening referrals, conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating care plans and delivering therapeutic interventions while managing a caseload.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, building partnerships across services to improve pathways, service development and quality improvement

Qualifications

• Significant experience working with adults with complex emotional needs in community settings.
• Experience managing a caseload within a multidisciplinary team.
• Open to Social Work, Nursing or Occupational Therapy backgrounds.
• Desirable: training in SCM, DBT, MBT or other evidence-based therapies.

Responsibilities

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of specialist, relational and evidence-informed care.

The role will focus onclinical practice, working closely with theBand 7 Senior Practitioner and Team Managerto support the effective running and development of the CEN Service. You will screen and assess referrals, liaise with referrers, undertake comprehensive assessments and formulations, develop care plans and provide therapeutic interventions, while holding a caseload of clients.

You willwork with and build effective partnerships with other teams and services, contributing to joined-up care and effective pathways for people with Complex Emotional Needs.

You will also contribute tocompassionate, person-centred and clinically effective service development, supporting service objectives, quality improvement and new ways of working

The role is open to professionals fromSocial Work, Nursing and Occupational Therapybackgrounds. Applicants should have significant experience working with adults with complex emotional needs in community settings, including experience of managing a caseload and working within a multidisciplinary team. Experience or training inStructured Clinical Management (SCM), DBT, MBTor otherrelevant therapeutic approacheswould be desirable.
