Job summary

Clover Care Group is seeking an Experienced Complex Care Worker to join a dedicated team supporting a young adult in Norwich. You will provide person-centred care, assist with daily living, communication through signs and gestures, and work closely with family and the Clover Care clinical team.

The role requires calm, patient, and reliable professionals who can follow detailed care plans, administer medication, monitor wellbeing, and maintain a safe, structured environment.

Qualifications

• Previous professional complex-care experience is essential.
• Solid background in professional complex care and experience with autism and learning disabilities is preferred.
• Non-verbal communication experience and ability to respond to signs and gestures is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support.
• Assist communication through signs, gestures and established methods.
• Follow structured daily routines and documentation.
• Support sensory regulation and reduce sensory overload.
• Assist with eating and drinking and medication administration per MAR chart.
• Monitor bowel health and assist with IBS/constipation.
• Support community and social activities.
• Maintain a calm, safe and predictable environment.
• Complete accurate care records and handovers.
• Work closely with family and Clover Care team.

Experienced Complex Care Worker Required

Clover Care Group is looking for an experienced Complex Care Worker to join a dedicated care package supporting a young adult in Norwich.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a calm, patient and experienced care professional who understands that effective complex care is about seeing the person, not just their care needs.

The individual we support has autism, a severe learning disability and ADHD and is non-verbal, using signs, gestures and behaviour to communicate. They require a consistent, structured and person-centred approach from staff who can recognise subtle changes in behaviour and understand what these may be communicating.

About the role

The successful Complex Care Worker will provide support with:

• Personal care and daily living activities
• Supporting communication through signs, gestures and established communication methods
• Following structured daily routines
• Supporting sensory regulation and reducing sensory overloadPositive behaviour support
• Eating and drinking
• Medication administration in line with the MAR chart
• Monitoring bowel health and supporting with IBS and constipation
• Community and social activities
• Maintaining a calm, safe and predictable environment
• Accurate care records, observations and handovers
• Working closely with family and the wider Clover Care team

What we're looking for

Previous professional complex-care experience is essential.

We're looking for care professionals who are:

• Calm, patient and compassionate
• Confident supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities
• Comfortable supporting someone who is non-verbal
• Able to understand and respond to behaviour as a form of communication
• Consistent in their approach and able to follow detailed care plans
• Confident providing personal care
• Experienced with medication administration
• Able to recognise changes in presentation, behaviour or physical wellbeing
• Comfortable working within a structured routine
• Reliable and committed to providing consistent care

You do not need to have experience with every aspect of this package. Training, induction and package-specific competency assessment will be provided, but applicants must already have a solid background in professional complex care.
