Job summary

Autism Together, a leading provider of services for autistic people, is seeking Complex Care Support Workers for our residential location in Bromborough, Wirral. You will support individuals with autism and learning disabilities in their home and community, promoting wellbeing and independence using person-centred approaches.

The role involves personal care, daily routines, appointments, and involvement in leisure activities, with training provided and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Driver with UK manual licence and access to a car.
• Minimum 2 years' experience supporting people with autism and learning disabilities.
• Excellent communication and person-centred approaches.
• Able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Desirable Level 2 or 3 in Health and social care.
• Must pass enhanced DBS check.
• GCSE Maths and English grade 4/C or above or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex autism and learning disabilities.
• Follow Positive Behaviour Support strategies and individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills, personal development, social integration and finances.
• Administer medication safely and maintain records.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
