Job summary

Priority Healthcare is seeking a Complex Care Support Worker in the Whitley Bay area. You will support a 17-year-old male with cerebral palsy, providing 2:1 care, wheelchair assistance and community involvement. The role is part-time (16-20 hours per week) with days and evenings, in a fully adapted home.

Applicants must have a full UK driving license, complex care experience (PEG feeding) and excellent verbal communication. DBS fees are reimbursed and weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

• Must drive and hold a Full UK license.
• Experience with complex care (brain injuries, cerebral palsy).
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential care to client with complex physical and mental health conditions.
• Support client to live as independently as possible within a fully adapted house.
• Assist with personal care, domestic tasks and community activities when needed.
