Job summary

Custom Care is recruiting for a Complex Care role in Kettering, UK. The caregiver will support a young gentleman with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, providing personal care, medications, and PEG feeds. A daytime driver is essential for day shifts, with night duties including monitoring a non-invasive ventilator.

Full training is supplied and progression opportunities exist. The role requires empathy, patience, and a willingness to engage in activities and outings.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex care setting.
• Knowledge of neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
• Experience with PEG feeding, non-invasive ventilators, moving and handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to the client.
• Administer medication and PEG feeds as required.
• Make hourly observations and monitor non-invasive ventilator (night shift).
• Support outings and activities, including day trips when needed.
• A daytime driver may be required to support daytime shifts.
