Job summary

Private Family Employer in Sutton Coldfield (B74) is seeking a female Complex Care Support Worker to join a private home care team for a 12-year-old with an acquired brain injury. The role involves 2:1 support alongside a Registered Nurse and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team.

You will provide complex clinical care, personal care, therapy support, and maintain detailed logs. DBS, right to work in the UK, and a full UK driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with non-verbal children or young people with complex needs.
• Minimum 2 years’ complex care experience in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.

Complex Care Support Worker/ Health Care Assistant (HCA)– Child (Private Family Employer)

Location: Sutton Coldfield (B74)

Hours: Flexible day shifts available Monday to Sunday (16 to 36 hours per week)

Pay: Competitive dependent on experience

We are recruiting an experienced female Complex Care Support Worker to join our established care team supporting our 12-yer-old daughter at home and school. She is very sociable and enjoys being around people who are positive, fun and engaging. She has an acquired brain injury with profound physical impairment and requires specialist, person-centred support. This role is 2:1 working alongside a Registered Nurse and within a wider multidisciplinary team.

Complex Care Support Worker Key Responsibilities

Complex Care Support Worker Requirements

• Experience with non-verbal children or young people with complex needs
• Minimum 2 years’ complex care experience in the UK
• Confident with airway suctioning including nasopharyngeal, oropharyngeal and deep suctioning
• Ability to work in an established care team
• Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK
• A full UK driving licence would be advantageous
• Non-smoker
