Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is recruiting for a Complex Care position in Epsom to support a sociable child with complex medical needs. You will deliver specialist care including tracheostomy care, ventilation support and PEG feeding, while supporting daily living, movement and sensory activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex care setting.
• Experience in moving and handling.
• Experience in tracheostomy & PEG feed care.
• Experience of looking after a ventilated child.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Experience with Makaton or alternative communication methods.
• Driver required: full UK licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist care for a child with complex medical needs.
• Support daily living, light domestic tasks, and a range of social and sensory activities.
• Perform tracheostomy care, ventilation support, and PEG feeding as part of care.
• Assist with specialist moving and handling due to spinal instability.
• Work within an individual care plan with supervision from a registered nurse.
