Job summary

Marva Group is seeking experienced Complex Care Nurses to join a dedicated 2:1 care team supporting an individual with significant complex needs in Crewe, United Kingdom.

The person has severe cerebral palsy, tracheostomy, gastrostomy, chronic lung disease, epilepsy and is non-verbal, requiring full moving and handling, wheelchair and P-Pod chair support, along with personal care and daily assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care preferred, including tracheostomy, PEG/gastrostomy, epilepsy and moving & handling.
• Nursing qualification and current registration are required.
• Full training provided where required.

Responsibilities

• Tracheostomy, airway and chest management.
• Gastrostomy and medication support.
• Epilepsy management.
• Full moving and handling (2:1).
• Personal care and daily support.
• Recognising and responding to non-verbal communication.
• Following care plans and maintaining accurate records.

The individual has severe cerebral palsy, developmental delay, chronic lung disease, tracheostomy, epilepsy and a gastrostomy. They are non-verbal, nil by mouth and require full moving and handling support, including wheelchair and P-Pod chair use.

• Personal care and daily support
• Recognising and responding to non-verbal communication
• Following care plans and maintaining accurate records

Previous complex care experience is desirable, particularly experience with tracheostomy, PEG/gastrostomy, epilepsy and moving & handling. Full training will be provided where required.
