Job summary

Superior Healthcare is seeking a Complex Care Assistant in Watford to provide one-to-one, person-centred support for a 5-year-old child with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy in the family home. You will work day and night shifts, offering safe personal care, seizure monitoring, and engaging activities such as singing and play.

The role requires a compassionate, experienced caregiver with a full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK; DBS check and references are part of employment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with Cerebral Palsy
• Experience supporting individuals with Epilepsy
• Competent in Moving and Handling
• Full UK driving licence and confident driver
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Supporting a young child with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy
• Monitoring and responding appropriately to seizure activity
• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
• Providing safe moving and handling support using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Encouraging participation in activities she enjoys, including singing and play-based interactions
• Building a positive relationship with the client and her family
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns

• Days: 08:00 - 20:00
• Nights: 20:00 - 08:00

Competitive pay rate of £20.00 per hour

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Romanian-speaking Complex Care Assisatnt to support a delightful 5-year-old child in her family home. Our client lives with her parents and two siblings and enjoys singing, music, and engaging with those around her. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide meaningful one-to-one support and make a real difference to a young child's quality of life.

About the Role
