Job summary

Superior Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Romanian-speaking Complex Care Assistant to support a 5-year-old child at her family home in Watford. This role focuses on safe, person-centred care including daily living support, seizure monitoring, and engagement in activities like singing.

You will work to ensure the child’s safety and wellbeing, maintain care records, and collaborate with the family. DBS check and references required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with Cerebral Palsy.
• Experience supporting individuals with Epilepsy.
• Competent in Moving and Handling.
• Full UK driving licence and confident driver.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supporting a young child with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy.
• Monitoring and responding appropriately to seizure activity.
• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Providing safe moving and handling support using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Encouraging participation in activities she enjoys, including singing and play-based interactions.
• Building a positive relationship with the client and her family.
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns.

Competitive pay rate of £20.00 per hour

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Romanian-speaking Complex Care Assisatnt to support a delightful 5-year-old child in her family home. Our client lives with her parents and two siblings and enjoys singing, music, and engaging with those around her.
