Job summary

HFH Healthcare Limited is seeking an experienced Complex Care Assistant to provide one-to-one care in Bermondsey, London. You will support a gentleman in his 60s with complex health needs at home, including tracheostomy care, ensuring comfort, dignity and independence.

The role focuses on dedicated, in-home support with a clear care plan, working with our clinical team. Shifts are 12 hours, day or night, with no travel between multiple homes.

Qualifications

• Previous professional healthcare or care experience.
• Tracheostomy care experience is desirable.
• A compassionate, patient and professional approach.
• Confidence supporting adults with complex healthcare needs.
• Excellent observation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing personalised care and support with daily living activities.
• Supporting tracheostomy care in accordance with training and the individual care plan.
• Monitoring comfort, breathing and general wellbeing.
• Recognising and responding appropriately to changes in condition.
• Supporting mobility and independence where appropriate.
• Learning and responding to the client's non‑verbal communication methods.
• Maintaining accurate care records and communicating with the clinical team.
