Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen is seeking a compassionate worker to support a young gentleman with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. The role requires personal care, medication administration, and PEG feed management, with a driver for daytime outings to places like space centres and parks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex care setting is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy and epilepsy is beneficial.
• Being able to understand and respond to a non-verbal client is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to the client.
• Administer medication and PEG feeds.
• Conduct hourly observations and monitor the non-invasive ventilator (night shifts).
• Support the client with outings and social activities.
• Assist with daily activities and mood-enhancing activities such as painting, listening to music and watching TV.
