Job summary

Superior Healthcare is recruiting a Community Complex Support Worker to assist a non-verbal young male in Tunbridge Wells with epilepsy and developmental delay. You will support with enteral feeding, medications, oral suctioning, hoisting and personal care.

Shifts include Twilight 5:00pm–10:00pm, Day 7:00am–5:00pm, and Waking Night 8:00pm–8:00am, with benefits such as paid training and progression opportunities. A UK driving licence and full right to work in the UK are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK-based care experience.
• Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Show the client dignity and respect at all times.
• Refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager for person-centred care.
• Advocate for the client, acting in their best interests and per company policies.
• Be calm, friendly and engaging with the client about their interests.
• Closely observe, monitor the client and maintain thorough documentation.
