Job summary
CCH is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman with an acquired brain injury in Orpington. You will provide person-centred care, follow care plans, and ensure dignity and independence while maintaining infection control and safety checks.
The role requires complex care experience especially in PEG feeding, suctioning, catheter and stoma care, medication administration, and moving & handling equipment, with a valid UK manual licence and access to a mobility van.
Qualifications
- Experience in complex care is required, especially PEG feeding, suctioning, catheter and stoma care, and medication administration.
- Ability to use moving and handling equipment and clear communication with clients and teams.
- Mental health support awareness is desirable and patient dignity and independence should be promoted.
Responsibilities
- Support a gentleman living with an acquired brain injury with person-centred care.
- Review and follow the client’s support plan daily.
- Adhere to infection control procedures and safety checks on equipment.
- Monitor and administer clinical interventions per training and care protocols.
