Job summary

CCH Maidstone Complex SCP in Detling is seeking a compassionate care assistant to support a young adult with an acquired brain injury. You will deliver PEG feeding, catheter care, medication administration, and monitor seizures, with emphasis on clear communication and safety.

This role requires a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with shifts 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am; DBS check provided, full training, and career progression within a values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Clear communication skills are essential for interacting with the client and team.
• A full valid UK driving licence with access to own vehicle is required due to location.
• Experience with intermittent catheter care and seizure management is advantageous.
• Knowledge of PEG feeding and medication administration is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide PEG feeds and nutrition management.
• Administer medications and monitor client condition.
• Assist with intermittent catheter care and seizure monitoring.
• Use moving & handling equipment to support transfers.
• Maintain a safe and supportive home environment for the client and dog.
