Total Community Care in Cornwall is seeking a compassionate care driver to support a gentleman with a spinal cord injury, providing personal and domestic assistance as part of a rolling 3 days on/6 days off rota. You will drive him to appointments and activities, helping with mobility and daily tasks, and be willing to travel within the UK.

No prior care experience is required as full training and a paid induction are provided.

Qualifikationen

• No care experience is a requirement as we provide full training and a paid induction day.
• Experience in bowel management, medication administration, or moving & handling equipment would be advantageous.

• Look after a gentleman with a spinal cord injury, providing personal and domestic care.
• Drive the client to appointments and activities.
• Support travel within the UK and abroad and adjust shifts to accommodate this.

Pay: Up to£14.75 per hour (National Minimum Wage For Sleeping Hours) / £333.68 per day

Shifts:Rolling Rota - 3 Days On - 6 Days Off - 24 Hour Shifts From 8am

Driver:Yes - Access To A Vehicle Required To The Geographical Location

Job Description

Earn £40,000 per year as part of a rolling rota.

3 on 6 off shift pattern. No experience required. The successful applicant must be willing to support client with trips in the UK and abroad.

You will be looking after a gentleman with a spinal cord injury, providing personal, domestic duties and driving the client to appointments and various activities.

The client works on some days during the week and also likes to spend time with is daughter as well as taking trips around the UK and abroad.The successful applicant must be willing to travel and adjust shifts to accommodate this.

Please note:He does have a pet cat on the premises and does use a vape, therefore thesuccessful applicant would need to be willing to support a client in this environment.

Qualifications

No care experience is a required as we provide full training and a paid induction day. However experience in the following would make your application all the more advantageous:

- Bowel Management (Suppositories)

- Medication Administration

- Moving & Handling Equipment (Mobile Hoist For Transfers & An Electric Wheelchair)
