Location: St Leonards-on-Sea

Shift: Mondays and Wednesdays 07:00-17:00 & 17:00-23:00

Tuesdays 19:00-23:00

Thursdays 19:00-23:00 & Fridays 17:00-23:00

Saturdays 07:30-17:30 & 17:30-23:30

As a Libertatem Complex Care Assistant, you can make a real difference to people’s lives by caring for their complex needs and enabling them to live the life they choose. You’ll join a supportive team that provides all the training and development needed to support your clients, making this a rewarding and fulfilling role.

Your role

Everyone is different. That’s the core of our approach to care. The opportunities are diverse, from taking clients to medical appointments or helping them get up in the morning, to supporting them through their day. Your focus will be on meeting each person’s unique needs.

Building a connection with those you care for is vital. You should be comfortable handling the physical aspects of care. The role requires experience in:

• Suprapubic catheter in situ
• Dystonia management
• Driving and complex care experience

If you have patience and flexibility, we will support you in providing the personal care they deserve.

Supporting you

Being a Libertatem carer is about caring and being good with people—gaining trust from clients and their families. If you have a caring personality and relevant experience, we offer online and classroom training in complex care needs and the opportunity to study for a relevant NVQ.

You may work alone or as part of a team. If available, you could support multiple clients. Before starting, you’ll meet your client and their family. You’ll have ongoing support from a Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager, and access to our ‘Carer App’ for insights and information. We provide everything you need to succeed in this role.
