Day Shifts: Monday to Sunday 8am-6pm & 8am-8pm

Your role

Everyone is unique. Our approach to care reflects this, offering diverse opportunities such as taking clients to medical appointments or assisting them with daily routines, including full twelve-hour support. Your role is to cater to each individual's specific needs.

Building a connection with those you care for is crucial. You should also be comfortable handling physical aspects of care. The role requires experience in:

  • Cough assist
  • Gastrostomy
  • Medication administration
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Tracheostomy Care Paediatric
  • Ventilation
Supporting you

Being a Libertatem carer is about more than just care; it's about building trust and rapport with clients and their families. If you have a caring personality and relevant experience, we offer online and classroom training in complex care needs, along with the opportunity to study for a relevant NVQ.

You may work alone or as part of a team, and if you have the availability, you can support multiple clients. Before starting, you'll meet your client and their family, with ongoing support from a Care Coordinator or Nurse Manager. You can also access our 'Carer App' for additional information and insights.
