Innovatecare is seeking a full-time Complex Care Assistant in Reading. In this role, you will provide essential support to a young adult male with a brain injury, working in a dedicated team alongside a Registered Nurse.

Your Role

As a Complex Care Assistant for Innovate Care Group, you will work alongside a Registered Nurse and play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, outstanding care of our client in Reading. You will be supporting a young adult male living with brain injury.

Clinical skills required

• Suction
• PEG feeding
• Wound care
• Bowel care (including manual evacuation)
• Seizure management

Experience with individuals with sight and hearing impairment would be advantageous.

• Good communication skills and IT confidence

• Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
