Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Limited in Portslade is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to support a young gentleman with an acquired brain injury and learning disabilities. You will receive full training and clinical support to manage PEG feeding, medication administration, and assisting with mobility and daily personal care.

Job Description

Join us as a Complex Care Assistant and expand your skills with full training and clinical support in areas such as tracheostomy care, moving and handling equipment and medication administration. You’ll be supporting a young gentleman with an acquired brain injury, learning disabilities and a tracheostomy.

On your day-to-day you will be supporting with a variety of clinical interventions, this will include:

• PEG Feed Management
• The use of Suction Machines
• Administering Medication
• Using Moving & Handling Equipment
• Providing Personal Care

Qualifications

Skills & Requirements

Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is not essential, but experience in the following would be extremely advantageous:

• PEG Feeding
• Medication Administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment.

You must be available for both Tuesdays & Fridays regularly.
