Job summary

CCH is recruiting for a Complex Care role in Nottingham to support a 93-year-old gentleman with a tracheostomy at home. You will provide personal care and assist with PEG feeds, mobility, medications and daily activities. Training is provided and no prior care experience is required.

Shifts include days (8am-8pm) and nights (8pm-8am). DBS clearance is funded, with paid induction and opportunities for career progression within the CCH group.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; full nurse-led training provided.
• Experience with tracheostomy care, suctioning, PEG care, bowel management, or moving and handling would be beneficial but isn’t essential.

Pay: Days - £14.55 per hour | Nights - £15.05 per hour

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll support a 93-year-old gentleman with complex care needs who has a tracheostomy. You’ll be there to help him remain comfortable and well supported while receiving care within his own home.

The key tasks within this role include:

• Providing personal care
• Tracheostomy care
• PEG feed management
• Moving and handling
• Supporting with bowel management
• Administering medication
• Supporting with day-to-day activities

Our enjoys watching television and films and is particularly interested in football and cricket, if you are a fan of the latter it would be a big plus!

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need previous care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion and resilience, as we provide full nurse-led training.

Previous experience with tracheostomy care, suctioning, PEG care, bowel management, medication administration or moving and handling would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.

A meet and greet with the client will be required as part of the recruitment process.
