Job summary

Total Community Care Limited, part of CCH, is seeking a compassionate care assistant to support a quadriplegic adult in his own home in Leicester.

No prior care experience is required as full nurse-led training is provided. Duties include personal care, moving and handling, meal preparation, administering medication, and supporting daily routines to promote independence.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full nurse-led training provided.
• Ability to work shifts including nights is required.
• Compassionate and reliable with a caring approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to client in home.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Prepare meals and monitor nutrition for client.
• Administer prescribed medications as directed.
• Support daily routines and activities and promote independence.

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Shifts: Waking Nights | 20.00 - 8.00 | shifts available Monday - Sunday

What you’ll do

With this role you will be supporting a quadriplegic adult in his own home.

This is a meaningful and rewarding role suited to a confident, caring and friendly professional. The successful candidate will be caring, enthusiastic and dedicated to promoting the clients independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal care including bowel management and catheter care


• Moving and handling


• Meal preparation


• Administering medication


• Supporting daily routines and interests
