Job summary

Routes Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support a client with a brain injury in their own home and community in the Gilberdyke area. The role focuses on promoting independence, assisting with daily routines, and helping the client access education and community activities, including college attendance.

You will work daytime shifts, including every other Saturday, with guaranteed hours after probation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' care experience in the UK
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for work purposes
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
• Reliable, compassionate, and professional approach
• Ability to work day shifts and every other Saturday

• Transport the client to and from college and appointments
• Encourage independence and social engagement
• Follow personalised care plans
• Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns
• Maintain accurate care records
• Build a positive and professional relationship with the client and their family

Shift Pattern

• Monday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
• Tuesday to Friday: 8:30am - 6:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am - 8:00pm
• Must be available to work every other Saturday

Essential Requirements
