Job summary

Huron is seeking a Compensation Associate in Belfast (Hybrid) to support surveys, data analytics, and year-end planning. You will coordinate compensation surveys, analyse market data, and build dashboards to inform leadership decisions, while ensuring data integrity in Workday.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in compensation, a Bachelor’s degree, strong Excel, and experience with Workday modules; you’ll need clear communication and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in compensation or total rewards.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience analysing compensation data and preparing insightful reports or dashboards is essential.
• Exposure to compensation design, administration, and benchmarking, with an understanding of accounting and finance implications of compensation programs.
• Experience using Workday compensation modules is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, confidence working with stakeholders at different levels, and the ability to explain compensation concepts clearly and professionally.
• High attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritise effectively, strong integrity, and a client‑service, consultative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and participate in compensation surveys to gather market data and benchmark practices.
• Analyse compensation data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and develop dashboards and reports.
• Support year-end compensation planning, including data gathering and responding to queries.
• Audit compensation data in Workday to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with plans.
• Collaborate with HR Partners, Compensation Managers, and business leaders to deliver high-quality service.
• Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Engage in learning and development opportunities within compensation and HR teams.
