Threshold Edinburgh is seeking a Support Worker (Waking Nights) to join the night team delivering consistent, person-centred support throughout the night in our Edinburgh service.

You will respond to individual needs, support with personal care, and help maintain safety and dignity while the team ensures smooth night operations. Training and development opportunities are provided, with a supportive Christian ethos.

Qualifications

• Patience, empathy and good judgement essential for night support work.
• Basic computer skills required for record-keeping and e-learning.
• SVQ Level 3 qualification preferred or required per role.
• Commitment to PVG scheme and SSSC registration as part of role.

Responsibilities

• Provide night-time support in line with individual care plans.
• Respond to residents' needs with reassurance and respect.
• Assist with personal care and health and wellbeing tasks.
• Promote independence, choice, dignity and respect.
• Monitor safety and security of the service overnight.
