Job summary

CVS Vets’ Beechwood Veterinary Centre in Woodley is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist for a permanent, 20-hour per week role. Shifts run Monday to Friday within 08:00–19:00, with a 1:4 Saturday rota. You will join a supportive CVS Vets team dedicated to putting pets first.

The role covers reception duties, appointment bookings, client greetings, insurance processing, medication distribution, and payments, using the in-house system. Experience and empathy are essential for high-quality client care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a demanding client-focused role is required.
• Strong communication skills with genuine empathy.
• Excellent customer service and ability to handle public interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming calls and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Respond to queries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism.
• Greet and register new clients, ensuring a warm welcome.
• Process and manage insurance forms accurately.
• Handle payments and financial transactions.
