Sirona Medical are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers and Healthcare Support Workers to work in Hertfordshire. This agency role offers rewarding shifts with competitive hourly pay rates of £15-£17 per hour and flexible ongoing opportunities.

You will deliver person-centred care, support daily living activities, and promote independence in a residential or healthcare setting. A valid Enhanced DBS, safeguarding knowledge, and good communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant.
• Experience supporting vulnerable adults in residential, supported living or healthcare settings.
• Good understanding of safeguarding adults and duty of care.
• Experience providing personal care and assisting with daily living activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient and professional approach to care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider care team.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain checks.
• Relevant mandatory training and understanding of person-centred care.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users.
• Assist individuals with personal care and daily living activities.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
• Support individuals with emotional, physical and social needs.
• Follow individual care plans and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate daily care records and report concerns.
• Support service users with activities and community engagement.
• Work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, supportive and positive environment.
• Follow safeguarding policies, infection prevention procedures and health and safety guidelines.
