Job summary

Sirona Medical is recruiting experienced Support Workers to work in Hertfordshire. The role focuses on delivering person-centred care, promoting independence and supporting daily living activities in care settings.

Candidates should have prior experience in healthcare or care settings, a good grasp of safeguarding, and the ability to work independently or in a team. DBS checks and relevant training are required. Start dates are ASAP, with competitive hourly pay and ongoing agency shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant.
• Experience supporting vulnerable adults in a residential, supported living or healthcare setting.
• A good understanding of safeguarding adults and duty of care.
• Experience providing personal care and assisting with daily living activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, patient and professional approach to care.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider care team.
• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to undergo the necessary checks.
• Relevant mandatory training and an understanding of person-centred care.
