Job summary

National Care Group is seeking a Female Support Worker for Apple House – Christchurch. You will support young adults with complex needs, building positive relationships, assisting with daily tasks, personal care and medication administration where required.

Qualifications

• You will build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals together.
• You will help plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
• You will assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
• You will help plan and participate in outings and activities to promote social inclusion.
• You will work to help individuals become more independent wherever possible.

Responsibilities
