Job summary

Glenholme Specialist Healthcare is seeking a Support Worker for their Learning Disabilities & Complex Needs Service. You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex behaviours in a structured, person-centred environment, promoting independence, dignity and inclusion.

This full-time role in Holdingham House offers a £13.20 per hour wage, weekends alternate, full-time 37.5 hours, and a range of benefits including pension, life cover, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and behaviours that challenge.
• Patient, resilient and passionate about helping people live meaningful lives.
• Willing to work full-time, including weekends.
• This role requires an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex behaviours.
• Deliver person-centred care and promote independence.
• Support with personal care, communication and emotional wellbeing.
• Teach daily living skills and community participation.
• Implement behaviour support plans and record progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues and professionals to ensure quality care.
